Welcome to my piano pages, where I share my musical interests and recordings. My main job is running Scriptit, a Web, software and graphics design company, but I have always had an avid practical interest in making music and in music technology.
Performing
I am interested in performing solo and accompanying instrumentalists and singers. I have a broad repertoire of classical styles and am willing to prepare unknown pieces.
Teaching
I have a few vacancies for for one-to-one tuition in classical piano and theory for beginners and upwards, by way of graded examinations or just for pleasure. I am CRB certified and an EPTA member and I have a fun approach to teaching, with good results coaching youngsters. Parents are welcome to stay during lessons — I prefer they do so — and home visits may be possible for local students. It's never too late to learn, and very therapeutic.
